due credit

you know...this is what would be called common sense and common courtesy. i want to give credit where credit is due. i've been around the web a few times, seen a lot of stuff i like, snagged it, and then had a brain-freeze. who... where... when... why... my mind clouds over in a zombie-like stupor and i forget to record who deserves credit. for instance, the statue of liberty image, on my main page, i got from somewhere. heck if i know where. but someone put a lot of effort into creating it and deserves to be mentioned and... and... brain... hurts... pounding... throbbing... must.. bang.. head......... ahhh, much better. so, while cruising the senselessness of my pages, if you stumble upon an obvious omission; please gently remind me of the oversight. i thank you and my walls thank you. update: feb 4th 2008, the mystery is solved, the statue of liberty image with artist sig is here for your viewing enjoyment.
the legality of it all (the fine print) 
this is another common sense issue! all trademarks are the sole property of their respective owners. i have neither the time nor the creativity to come up with anything that you see on my pages. any links that you follow, any software that you end up downloading, any actions that you end up taking; in short, i take no responsibility for what you do. a free society can only function properly when everyone is willing to hold themselves accountable for their own actions. jeesh, i have enough problems just explaining to my family and friends why my walls have so many dents and holes in them. and another thing, everything presented on these pages is for entertainment purposes only! enjoy the experience of sitting in front of your computer and staring into the monitor. i do. just the thought of having to leave my computer for any length of time throws me into deep fits of despair and depression. the angst and the anguish rip and tear at my body leaving me nearly comatose and slumped over my computer. if it wasn't for the radiation eminating from the monitor, nourishing and sustaining my vital organs, i don't know how i would survive... so you are on your own. please exercise some common sense, try to the best of your abilities to use good judgement, and i am sure that your life will turn out just fine. (disclaimer: i am not a zombie, nor am i affiliated with the dark forces of evil. i do not hear voices telling me that my computer is the messiah of the second coming that will save humanity from the foul wretchedness that plagues mankind. i do not bang my head against a wall, nor would i if i had the chance. i am loved and adored by my family and friends. i exhibit no signs of depression, clinical or otherwise; i just play one on tv.)
