please note... today's date is Monday, November 11, 2002. what follows below is the info for atomtime. it is shareware, but is good. it is also now called atomtime pro. the freeware atomtime... the atomtime below... ummm... kind of doesn't work anymore... it only checks for one time server and gets stuck now. so i would suggest getting atomtime pro... but that costs money. and you came to my site for freeware!! so go download webtime 2000 by gregory braun. this is freeware and works like a charm, and can check any number of internet time servers out there. webtime http://www.gregorybraun.com/WebTime.html or go the the main page of his site and follow the link there http://www.gregorybraun.com/ |

AtomTime98 is a 32-bit Win95 Internet (Winsock) application which will connect to the Atomic Clock time server in Boulder, CO and fetch the current atomic clock time value. It then compares this value to your PC time and displays the difference. You then have the option of updating your PC clock to match the atomic clock value. There are also advanced settings that allow the application run in a much more automated nature. ---- the above words of wisdom are from the author! ---- this is an excellent little program, and i would shower more words of praise on it, but i'm afraid i would short out my computer from all of the water that i would end up using. so...go get it and enjoy!! |

don't ask me why, but it always makes me happy when the readme.txt file is larger in size than the actual program itself!! enjoy! |
